Through our employee’s efforts Barrow Company has evolved into one of the most respected companies in our industry.

Over the past few years Barrow Company has received many recognitions and awards to include, Louisville Better Business Bureau, Inc.1999 Richard E. Akers Award for Excellence & Marketplace Ethics as a small business finalist. However, In November 2000, Barrow Company was selected as the winner of the Louisville Better Business Bureau’s 2000 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the small business category. The Louisville Better Business Bureau, Inc. represents three quarters of the State of Kentucky and all of Southern Indiana.

Locally we have been recognized by the Oldham County Chamber with their Business Award in 1999 and most recently Barrow Company was presented with the prestigious Oldham County Business of the Year 2003. For this, and all of the others, we are very proud.

Additionally, we have received recognition for our contribution to the Kentucky Onsite Wastewater Association’s ( K.O.W.A.) Kentucky Onsite Training Center located in Anderson County Kentucky. Barrow Company is an active member of the K.O.W.A. which holds recertification training for all installers as well as health agency personnel. We have been, and continue to work towards the ongoing growth and advancement of this educational facility. Barrow Company is involved in teaching classes at the training center and in the development of their educational programs. Our company has been involved in giving classes for the Kentucky Division of Water conferences as well as developed small classes that are offered periodically in our local communities for the homeowner or individual to learn more about septic systems. We believe that education is important.

Our company offers services such as, site evaluations for proposed new construction and Realty Septic Inspections for sale of residential & commercial properties. Other services include installation of public sanitary sewer connections, outside plumbing, service agreements for regular maintenance checks on existing systems, and a 'NEW' Sewage Protection Program not offered by any other company in Kentucky.

Specializing in engineering & design of new onsite wastewater systems is our area of expertise, especially for the hard to develop or more challenging locations with higher degrees of difficulty. We also perform additions to, or repairs of, existing onsite wastewater systems. Barrow Company is the manufacturer of the 'New'Gribbins Whirlair Aeration Sewage Treatment Plant for Spray and Direct Discharge that can service both residential and commercial properties.

As a company policy we employ only state licensed and certified technicians who can serve both residential and commercial accounts in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Many of our technicians have over 25 years of experience in the wastewater field and work closely on a daily basis with local and state officials.
